More Connected Than Ever: Transitioning Virtually for Individuals with Disabilities during COVID-19
About the Presenters:
Steph Foulkes and Suzanne Gregory are Admissions Managers at Vista Life Innovations with a collective 30 years of experience supporting transition. At Vista, Steph and Suzanne empower individuals with disabilities to achieve "everyday dreams" as they find personal success in their lives.
Roger J. Jou MD, MPH, PhD is a psychiatrist and researcher at the Yale Child Study Center whose work for the past 20 years has focused on autism across the lifespan. Dr. Jou founded Community Autism Socials at Yale (CASY) in 2014, providing free social-recreation, education, and virtual community.
Join Vista and CASY Sparks as we discuss the shift to offering transition opportunities virtually after the rise of COVID-19, including our initial experiences, virtual fatigue and the unexpected benefits of "going virtual."
