Part-Time Dog Walker/Pet Sitter

We Let the Dogs Out, LLC is a professional and well-established pet care company who provides quality, loving care to the animals along the CT shoreline. We are currently looking for part-time helpers in the towns of Old Saybrook, Essex, Killingworth, and Clinton. We provide on-the-job training and continued support and mentorship.
 
Requirements:
 
LOVE both dogs and cats
Have experience with dogs and their behavior (your own pets count!)
Be professional, neat and tidy in clients' homes
Have a smartphone
Have excellent communication skills & grammar
Own a reliable vehicle with valid license, registration & insurance; have a willingness to transport dogs in said vehicle;
Be Pet CPR/First-Aid certified or willing to take a class
Be available to dog walk on weekday holidays, as needed (some of our clients take those days off, but not all!)
Pass a criminal / background check
This is a fun and rewarding job!
 
YOU MUST LIVE LOCAL TO THE TOWN(S) WHERE JOB IS LOCATED as it requires travel between visits. Candidates must be willing and able to drive and work in all types of weather. Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work year-round. Must be comfortable interacting with customers, entering customers' homes and handling alarm systems.
