Wire Weaving Jewelry Workshop
Take wire wrapping to the next level! Try your hand at wire weaving with a pair of earrings. A great beginner project. You select your wire and stone color. These make wonderful accessories for you or as a gift. Required tools supplied by the instructor. All materials included. Additional teardrop stones available for purchase. Teaching artist, Pauline Clifford, started with basic bead stringing and wire wrapping, She moved on to bead embroidery that incorporates Soutache braid and Shibori silk. She makes jewelry that she likes to wear herself, favoring bold statement pieces. Color and sparkle appeal to Pauline but so does graduating colors in the same area of the color spectrum. Pauline earned a Bachelor’s degree in East Asian Language and Literature, a Master’s degree in Language and Literacy, and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology.
