Vista's A Shared Stage Productions Presents Sister Act
A Shared Stage Productions, a program of Vista Life Innovations, will present Sister Act on May 17, 18, and 19 at The Kate. Due to popular demand, we've added a fourth show on Saturday afternoon. Directed by Martin Marchitto, Sister Act is a joyous musical comedy that uses music to bring together different communities and lifestyles. It shares the story of disco diva Deloris Van Cartier, a worldly singer, who witnesses a mob crime. The police hide her as a nun in a traditional convent where she has trouble fitting in. Ultimately, Deloris finds that many of the nuns at the convent are not that different from her and that they are quite enjoyable to be around. They help give her a bigger purpose in life, showing her a genuine love and affection that was missing prior to her arrival at the convent. Don't miss this musical comedy starring an integrated cast of performers from the shoreline theater community alongside Vista students and members! Get your tickets on The Kate's website before they sell out or call the Box Office at 860-510-0453.
