The Rotary Club of Old Saybrook will be holding their 25h Annual Wine & Beer Tasting and Silent Auction Friday, March 3rd at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina.

As you may know, the Rotary club of Old Saybrook represents the towns of Lyme-Old Lyme, Old Saybrook and Westbrook. Our activities support community projects for all three towns.

The proceeds from our event help fund college and vocational scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Old Saybrook Rotary supports the D.A.R.E. program, our popular Dictionary Project for 3rd graders, Student of The Month recognition awards, the Estuary Council of Senior Citizens including Meals on Wheels for the 9 shoreline towns, our schools, libraries, Parks & Recreation Department, Youth & Family Services, Bikes for Kids and more. We support global projects through the Polio Plus eradication program and have helped hospitals in foreign countries (i.e. Ghana, Kenya, Haiti) by donating medical equipment and funds for capital improvements. Old Saybrook Rotary has also worked with other Rotary Clubs to assist in relief efforts following natural catastrophes.

It will be an evening of fun including wine & beer tasting, hardy d'oeuvres, and silent auction. The silent auction includes many items to bid on such as sporting event tickets, theater tickets, great gift baskets, and many restaurant certificates.
