Memorial Celebration for Claude Zanni WWII Veteran

On Friday, June 24, 2022, at Noon, the Historical Society will host a recognition ceremony honoring Claude Zanni and his family on the Town Green.  A graduate student from George Washington University, Brett Martin, selected a person buried at Normandy and composed a biography and eulogy for that person as part of his American History course. Being from the area he selected the Old Saybrook veteran, Claude Zanni. The public is invited to be a part of this celebration.
