Hiking the Appalachian Trail with Sam Ducharme

From March to September of 2015, Sam Ducharme made a 2,180-mile, fourteen-state backpacking trip from Georgia to Maine. During this six-month journey, he documented the rugged beauty of the Appalachian Mountains, the wildlife, the hardships encountered on the trail, as well as the people and culture. Come join him as he takes you through the trail towns, over the mountaintops and through the backcountry. Sam Ducharme is a retired K9 Officer, a lifelong resident of Connecticut, and an avid outdoorsman.
