Guiding Neurodiverse Students in Post-Secondary Transition Planning - webinar
It’s the time of year when individuals with disabilities, their parents, advocates, and their educational support team are planning for the year ahead and setting their goals for their future. This process typically includes the creation of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) to set and track goals across a year. For individuals who are 16 and older, this is also often a time when they begin to plan for their transition into adulthood while exploring post-secondary learning opportunities. As a provider of programming and services for young adults with disabilities, Vista Life Innovations knows first-hand the importance of this process and the anxiety that it can produce. In the effort to share our knowledge of this process with others, Vista is offering a session on the topic of transition.
“Guiding Neurodiverse Students in Post-Secondary Transition Planning” is a one-hour webinar that provides an overview of the process while also offering information and resources to attendees. This event will be co-hosted by Vista Admissions Managers Steph Foulkes and Suzanne Gregory, and Amy Brown, a Transitions Consultant from South East Consortium for Special Services, Inc.
