Choral Program

Please join us for All Saints Evensong on November 3, 2019, at 4:00 PM. All Saints Choral Evensong is an enriching spiritual experience of Hymns, Anthems and Scripture as we celebrate the Feast of All Saints. The Saint Ann’s Choir will sing Preces and Responses composed by Harry Bramma, Evening Canticles composed by Charles Villiers Stanford, and an Anthem composed by Samuel Sebastian Wesley. We welcome everyone to this contemplative service of music, scripture, and prayer. A note about Evensong: Evensong is the nickname for the service of Evening Prayer from the Book of Common Prayer (BCP). This service has been the principal liturgy of the Anglican/Episcopal tradition since the year 1549, which was when the BCP was first authorized for use for the Church (of England).
