An Afternoon with the Artist: Photographer Alen MacWeeney
Join us for coffee and Q&A on Saturday, March 9th at 1 p.m. for "An Afternoon with the Artist" featuring photographer Alen MacWeeney.
Born in Dublin, MacWeeney began his career in Paris at twenty, as Richard Avedon’s assistant. His work has appeared in numerous magazines, including The New Yorker, LIFE, House & Garden, Vogue, Travel + Leisure, and others. A selling exhibition of a fine selection of photographs is on view now through March 26th at the Connecticut Cancer Foundation’s Art Gallery.

The Connecticut Cancer Foundation is a non-profit with a 501(c)(3) designation whose mission is to financially assist Connecticut cancer patients and their families and to fund cancer research.
