Battle of the Businesses Pickleball Tournament! Calling all pickleball fanatics and enthusiasts alike! Get ready to dink, drop , and drive your way to victory at an exhilarating evening of pickleball action! Whether you're a seasoned player or just getting started, this event promises fun and friendly competition for players of all levels. Pickleball enthusiasts from across the community will gather at the Old Saybrook Racquet Club, where teams will showcase their skills, engage in spirited matches, and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow player. The round-robin format ensures that every participant gets ample opportunities to compete with various businesses and organizations, fostering a dynamic and inclusive atmosphere. Tournament Format: Teams: Teams must consist of a minimum of four players: two men & two women. Round-Robin: Men's, Women's, & Mixed Doubles Scoring: Event Highlights: Prizes Spectators: Even if you're not hitting the court, come cheer on your favorite businesses & organizations. Join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the one year anniversary of Salty Babes Salon! They are hosting an open house to meet the incredible staff and learn more about their salon and services.
There are several ways to participate in Tour de Lyme You Can Ride There are many options to choose from?six road rides and two mountain bike rides offer a wide range of length and degree of challenge. Learn more about the routes. Whether you ride as an individual, or with a team, you will share a great feeling of comradery with more than 800 fellow riders both out on the routes and at the special post-ride picnic. Join or form a team when you register and ride with your friends on event day. Help the Lyme Land Trust and the Tour de Lyme by setting a team fundraising goal. Be sure to remind everyone that all contributions are tax deductible. Many employers offer matching donations, does yours? View registration information Online registration closes at midnight Friday before the event. Registration on the day of the event will include an additional $10 processing fee. 6th Annual Car Show The Chamber is partnering with the VFW Post #10153 to help support local and national veteran programs. $10 Show Cars. Dash plagues, goody bags, refreshments and trophies! Admission is free - come see beautifully restored cars and trucks on a Sunday afternoon.
