Adriana Valle has been caring for pets professionally since 2010 when she started a dog walking business in Qatar, where she and her family previously lived. Upon moving to Old Saybrook in 2017, she launched Shoreline Happy Paws. 

The best part of the job? Enjoying time with the pups, being outdoors, and seeing some of her clients make progress with behavioral issues. “Our pets enrich our lives so much, it’s important that we enrich their lives as well.”

Adriana is inspired by all the women in her life, her mother, stepmother, aunt, grandmothers and great grandmother, who have each overcome adversity in their own ways.

Shoreline Happy Paws currently employs nine professional pet sitters and dog walkers. They have helped more than 400 families since its inception. SHP offers dog walks, overnight stays, adventure hikes both private or group, and drop in visits, “providing peace of mind to pet parents!”
